Happenings Around the Cottage

Today the upstairs bathrooms are getting a fresh coat of paint on the walls.  I can't wait to show you some of the after shots.  Hopefully sooner then later!  We've been in the cottage for about a month now.  I can't help but feel like more should be done.  More pictures on the walls, more accessories being showcased and of course window treatments framing the windows.  A lot has been put on hold because of painting the place and other snafu contractor stuff.  Broken things, yada yada.  At the same time, I'm very proud of all we've accomplished in this past month!  We've got all the parts.  Now we need to complete a finished project.  One room at least!  Thanks to my beautiful sister-in-law, we now have some gorgeous sun room furniture.  The furniture couldn't work more perfectly in our room!  The soft blue cushions compliment our newly painted Southern blue ceiling.

The stairs have been caulked and primed.  Painting and staining ahead!

     The downstairs half bath is ready for decorating!
                         * Paint walls, wainscot, and ceiling
                         * Replace light fixture
                         * Replace mirror
                         *decorate

A light fixture refresher...

And the mirror that will grace this space...

{driftwood beautifulness}

The bathroom is fairly narrow so I'm eager to see what we come up with for the room.
This is every one's favorite part, right?

So many rooms, so little time.
I'm working on it.
promise.
