The Road Ahead

As promised I've uploaded more images of our cottage.  Most of these pictures were snapped during the final walk through.  That point when reality hits...this is our home and it's time to fork over the money.  As stressful as that time can be for many buyers, I was assured at this time that this was the perfect place for my husband and I to settle down and build our family.  I should probably add that right now it's just my husband and I.  The duo.  I love it this way.  He gets me and is very in-tune when it comes to home decor and renovation.  Does he love it?  Probably not.  But he's very supportive of my love for design and for that I'm very grateful.  Also, who else would drive my bum around?  C'mon blog friends, you know exactly what I'm talking about ;)  Antique shopping and outlets hours away...just so I can say we got a deal!  While we would love to have the home of our dreams immediately, our bank account doesn't warrant that.  Some things will have to wait.  Gosh, I hate saying that.  Who am I really trying to convince?  We our currently in the process of having the house painted.  The entire thing.  Yep, that's one thing I couldn't settle on.  The cabinets are getting a beautiful coat of the oh so famous, Benjamin Moore Fieldstone.  I can already see the potential that lies ahead.  Our road my be a long one, but I look forward to the journey accompanied by some twists and turns along the way.  Would you like to join us?

Until then...
