Our Humble Beginnings

Welcome!

Well, as I had expected I hear silence.  In a strange way, I'm okay with that.  I'm not expecting to be a blog superstar.  Rather, I'm hoping to use this blog as a means to relax and share my life, home, and  love for beauty with others.  I've "stalked" blogland for quite some time.  Visiting blogs is my way to relax and gain inspiration as my husband watches the game or gets caught up on some sports talk.  Something I seem to be okay with now, since I have something to occupy my time ;)  Watch all the sports you want, honey!

We just sold our first home and  purchased our dream home.  It is at this time in my life that I question "why the heck not?".  I'd like to invite you along our journey to transform a house with character and charm into something much more.  I'd like to honor Hickory.
